Fourth Grade
This year students will...
*Learn about Animals/Plants/ Structures in the Environment/Electricity/ Magnetism/Engineering Challenges will be presented
*Have a mandated science fair project that will be presented BEFORE the Science Fair. The science Fair will be a celebration and sharing of hard work.
*Take the state science tests in June. One test is a written test, the other is a hands-on test where students perform science tasks and write about results.

Grading and Information
Science grades are based on a combination of attendance, class participation, independent and group science work, and the presentation of written work. Writing is based on the Common Core Standards for the grade.
