We have 2 lizards in the science room.

One bearded dragon named Ori and a leopard gecko named Jean.

Ori, the beared dragon is the bigger lizard.  He is calm and lovely.

Ori is a lizard- bearded dragons come from Australia and eat insects and vegitation.  Ori prefers superworms, crickets and loves hornworms.  He likes to swim and take baths in his water bowl.  He also loves to run around the classroom.

Jean, the leopard gecko is the smaller lizard.  She too, is calm and lovely.

Jean loves to be held and she loves crickets.  She likes to come out of her cage but needs to be watched.  Last year the zoologists created a multi-level box home, where she was able to safetly spend lunch time.  She does not like to be spritzed with water but she loves snacking on calcium dusted crickets.  Both lizards need calcium supplements to have healthy bones.
